NorthCrest Emergency Room Renovation: Setting New Standards in Local Healthcare
SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On July 30, 2024, TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center celebrated the completion of its Emergency Department renovation with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by CEO Sean Patterson. This project focuses on improving the patient experience and aiding staff in delivering exceptional emergency care to Robertson County.
This patient-facing renovation coincides with other ongoing projects at TriStar NorthCrest, which are not immediately visible to patients. It marks the first significant update to the Emergency Department in 17 years, addressing the wear from high patient volumes and introducing new features, including updated flooring by Dyer Construction and updates to the 12 Treatment Bays, 3 Trauma Rooms, and 3 Behavioral Health Intake Rooms.
Serving over 25,000 emergency patients in 2023, TriStar NorthCrest remains dedicated to enhancing its facilities to better serve the community. This renovation reaffirms the hospital’s commitment to improving patient care and their overall experience.
Smokey Barn News was invited to TriStar NorthCrest to speak with CEO Sean Patterson about the renovations. In the video above Sean highlights the improvements and what they mean for the community.
In addition to the ER renovations, Sean tells us that a brand new lobby renovation is coming later this year, and an inpatient unit renovation has already begun with more upgrades coming as NorthCrest continues to improve the hospital’s overall efficiency.
