Frankie Hallums, Jr.

79 Years Old
Hugh Franklin “Frankie” Hallums, Jr., age 79 of Adairville, KY, passed from this life on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at his home. Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 4:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 PM until the time of service.
Mr. Hallums was born July 30, 1946 in Springfield, TN to the late Hugh Franklin and Mary Agnes Norris Hallums, Sr. He was a member of Battle Creek Baptist Church and was formerly a member of Calvary General Baptist Church. He worked for a long time at Unarco and did upholstery work with his father. He enjoyed talking on the CB radio, motorcycles, antique cars, and woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Megan Daryle Hallums, and a sister, Patricia Hallums.
Surviving him are his wife of nearly 58 years, Mary Jane Grant Hallums of Adairville, KY; sons, Timothy Mark Hallums of Coopertown and Shawn Franklin (Pamela) Hallums of Adairville, KY; granddaughters, Tabitha Hallums, Emaly Hallums Guy, Heaven Marie Hallums, Alaina Nicole Hallums, and Katelynn Renee Hallums; great-grandchildren, Mariah Hunter, Lativious Ashley, and Carter James Guy; brother, John Norman Hallums of Coopertown; and sister Marjorie Jean Hallums (Roger) Elliott of Coopertown.
The family requests, if so desired, that memorial contributions be made to either Isaiah 117 House of Russellville, KY, or My Father’s House. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.

Charlie Moss
December 16, 1947 ~ March 30, 2026
78 Years Old
Charles Monroe “Charlie” Moss was born on December 16, 1947, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to the late Albert A. and Elma Boyer Moss, and he departed this life on Monday March 30, 2026. He graduated from Ellsinore High School in 1965. He moved to Nashville to attend Nashville Auto Diesel College. This is where he met the love of his life Gloria Jean Chambliss. They were married on June 17, 1967. They raised four children together. Charlie loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was an awesome husband, Dad, and Grandpa. Charlie’s family always came first in his life.
After retiring from Piedmont Natural Gas, with thirty years of service, he built several homes and tended his farm. He had to be doing something, as he could not sit still. Charlie loved to work with his hands, whether repairing or making something out of metal or wood. He loved to hunt and fish. Charlie passed on this love to his children and grandchildren. In his later years he fished on the nine-acre lake at the farm daily as he could. He raised a garden and tended his flock of chickens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Alta Mae Fisher. Charlie is survived by his wife: Gloria Jean Moss, his daughter: Donna Moss-Smith (Duane) of Greenbrier, his sons: Melvin Moss of Ashland City, Dewayne Moss (Elizabeth) of Ashland City, and Christian Moss (Lori) of Adairville, KY, by his grandchildren: Aubrey Moss (Hassan), Dalton Moss (Peyton), Dylan Moss, and Kaleb Smith, by his great grandchildren: Brinkley Moss and Porter Moss, and by his sister: Audrey Moss Leach of Zephyrhills, FL.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday April 3rd at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Warren officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams, with Hassan, Dylan, Dalton, Kaleb, Duane, and Jeremy serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Bill Allen Taylor
July 7, 1949 ~ March 30, 2026
76 Years Old
Bill Allen Taylor, 76, of Greenbrier, passed away on Monday March 30, 2026, at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. A Time of Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday April 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home.
Bill was born July 7, 1949, in Franklin, TN, to the late S.E. and June Saeger Taylor. He was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1967. Bill worked many years as a machinist for Wright Industries and then went on to retire from building houses. In his younger days, he enjoyed dirt bike racing. He loved to race his drag car and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bill was of the Presbyterian faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: David and Eddie Taylor. Bill is survived by his wife: Robin Cook Taylor of Greenbrier, by his sons: Chris Taylor of Coopertown, and Chase Taylor and wife Dawn of Union City, by his grandchildren: Dylan Taylor and wife Molly, and Raegan Taylor, by his great grandchild: Sutton Chase Taylor, and by his sister: Diane Taylor Thomas of Greenbrier.

Robert Eugene “Rob” Brunson, Jr.
September 16, 1961 – March 25, 2026
Robert Eugene “Rob” Brunson, Jr., age 64, of Cedar Hill, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Northcrest Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3pm Monday, March 30th, in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield.
The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Brunson was born September 16, 1961, in Rock Hill, SC, to the late Robert Eugene Brunson, Sr., and the late Marian Cathlene Shannon Brunson. He was a residential construction contractor for most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Tammie Morris Brunson; his children, Michael Brunson, Tiffany (Damian) Sparks, Justin (Tiffany) Morris and Charity Babb; 7 grandchildren, Dravin Sparks, Devin (Ashton) Morris, Destiny Morris, Kaylee Morris, Ryleigh Morris, Logan Babb and William Babb; 1 great grandchild; and a sister, Cindy (Tony) Walton.

Mildred Lavoice Krengel
August 25, 1929 – March 27, 2026

Mildred Lavoice (Gammons) Krengel passed away on March 27, 2026. She was born on August 29,
1929 to Joe and Bertha Temple Napier. Mildred was known for her smile, love for her family, and her
50+ years as a cosmetologist. She was also an active member of McFerrin Missionary Baptist
Church. She labored in love for her family, church family, friends, and clients for 96 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Philip Gammons, and her
second husband, Robert Krengel. Brothers: Carvil, Cordell, RJ, Comus, Cornwell “Bud”, Donald,
Harold & Bill Napier. Sisters: Overa Napier, Pauline Stinson & Wilma White. Half Brothers: Jimmy,
Danny & Gordan Napier.
Half Sisters: Barbara Wickwire & Ferell Napier. Although she will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she is basking in the Light of the King. “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Doug “Bubba”) Franklin. Granddaughters: Leigh Ann Brown
& Amy (Nathan) Johnston. Great-Grandchildren: Kayla (Taylor) Cain, Makenzie (Christian) Patton,
Madison (Clay) Gilbert, Kayla “Kay Kay” Johnston & Noah (Jacie Greer) Johnston. She is also
survived by the true loves of her life, her Great-Great Grandchildren: Liam Cain, Ezra Patton, Nova
Grayce Cain, Zane Elliott, Jude Patton, Aspyn Johnston & Baby Patton due July 2026. She is also
survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the staff of Charter Senior Living White House for their loving care and kindness to
Mildred and her family throughout her illness, and to the members of MMBC for their continued
prayers and support.
Service will be held at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in White House, TN on April 1, 2026. Visitation
is from 11:00am – 1:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. The service will be officiated
by Brother Jeremy Sisk and Brother Johnny Carver.

Peggy Jane Hughes, age 87, of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Riverview Post Acute in Ashland City.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Wednesday, April 1st, at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jackson Watts officiating.
The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
Mrs. Peggy was born on January 27, 1939, in Guthrie, Kentucky, to the late Finis & Mary Coleman Parker. She was a homemaker who was an avid animal lover. She was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hughes; and brothers, Ray Higdon and Robert & Doyle Parker.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Jim) Gilliam and Becky (Anthony) Davis; and granddaughters, Arieal & Samantha Davis.

Jackie Lynn Stephens

Jackie Lynn Stephens, 66, of Greenbrier, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, in Nashville, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 6, 2026, in the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home, 2619 Hwy 41 S, Greenbrier, TN. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
Jackie was born on March 17, 1960, in Jamestown, TN, to the late William Ralph Stephens, Sr. and Sylvia JoAnn Cooper Stephens.
He was also preceded in death by his Uncle Vestal and Aunt Linda Malone.
He is survived by his children, Chris (Mandy) Stephens of Oklahoma, Chad (Alethea) Stephens of Texas, Dessirae Stephens of Texas, and Serena Stephens of Texas; his brothers, Gerald Stephens of Georgia and William Ralph (Anna) Stephens, Jr. of Georgia; his sisters, Bertha Sheila Campbell of Greenbrier and Angela Dawn Stephens of Georgia; and five grandchildren Johnathan, Kelci, Adalynn, Colton, and Xzavion who will carry on his memory.
Jackie enjoyed the simple things in life—fishing, listening to music, and time spent with the people he loved. He worked as a Tankerman in the Petro Chemical industry, a job that reflected his strength and dedication.
