Officer Injured After 31W Crash in White House
WHITE HOUSE, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A Franklin, Kentucky, Police Officer was transported to Skyline Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash involving his patrol unit Wednesday evening in White House.
The crash occurred around 7:17 p.m. on Highway 31W. According to Robertson County EMS Director Brent Dyer, EMS responded alongside White House Fire Department and local law enforcement.
Upon arrival, first responders found a police vehicle that had reportedly been struck from behind by another vehicle. The officer inside the patrol unit was stable but required transport to Skyline Medical Center for trauma center evaluation.
White House Fire personnel utilized rescue tools to remove a door from the patrol vehicle to provide safer access to the injured officer.
The driver of the second vehicle did not report any injuries and declined transport.
