Officials ID Skeletal Remains Found Near I65 In Robertson County
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – This is an update to a report we brought you back on March 10th. Skeletal remains had been found off I65 in Robertson County.
The Robertson County Sheriff’s office is now confirming the remains were in fact human, and according to the medical examiner, that of Adam McElroy, 44, from Nashville, TN.
The cause of death is still pending but according to the medical examiner via the Sheriff, there are no obvious signs of trauma, and foul play is not suspected at this time.
The skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near mile marker 116 off of I65 N in Cross Plains, TN. LOCATION OF SKELETAL REMAINS
The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, the Orlinda Fire Department, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Robertson County EMS, and the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency all responded to the scene.
