Update
Initially officials thought the house sustained minimal damage from the crash. However, after an appraisal by the insurance company, the homeowner told Smokey Barn News that the damage is more extensive than first thought. It appears the vehicle impacted the house with much greater force than initially realized, leaving the homeowner facing a significant repair challenge. Fortunately, though the family was inside the home at the time of the crash, no one inside was injured.
