One Lifeflighted Critical Following Serious Crash In Springfield
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Authorities are investigating following a Main St crash in Springfield that sent one person to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The accident occurred on Main St near Shelby Lynn Lane just after 9 pm and Main St was closed while the accident was investigated.
According to Robertson County EMS, the occupant was Lifeflighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville in critical condition.
The cause of the crash, or why the driver, a male in his mid 20’s, left the roadway, is unclear. After leaving the roadway the vehicle impacted a row of trees head-on.
Springfield Police, Robertson County EMS, and the Springfield Fire Department all responded to the scene.
