Over 100 RC High Students Recognized for Achievement
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – More than 100 Robertson County Schools high school students were recognized for achievement, abilities, and honors at the regularly scheduled April school board meeting.
Recognition was given for group and individual achievement in categories including:
Essay writing, which included two top GHS winners in the CEMC competition.
Cheer team competition: which included a GHS regional champion title and a place in national competition.
Sports: Including, wrestling, basketball, golf, volleyball, soccer, cross country
Team highlights included a Jo Byrnes High district basketball championship and an East Robertson High Lady Indians district championship and county team of the year recognition.
Band
FFA- numerous individual recognitions and a JBHS Superior Chapter Award
BETA
Academics: Math, robotics, music, Youth in Government, Art Photography.
The Springfield High robotics team placed as a state semifinalist and qualified for the JROTC national championship and World Championship tournaments.
These students can be justly proud of their achievements and Robertson County Schools is proud of the effort the displayed on local, state, regional, and national levels to attain them.
