Over 9,000 Without Power Following Storm

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – About 9400 CEMC customers are without power following a storm system that passed over the Robertson County area Wednesday morning.

CEMC is hard at work restoring power across the area but given the geographic area affected it could be an hour or more before power is restored in some areas.

According to Director R.L. Douglas with the Emergency Management Agency, other than power outages, there are reports of trees down across the county but so far we have no reports of damage to structures.

Has the storm affected your neighborhood? Tell us about it in comments below.
