Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Springfield Wednesday Night
UPDATE: Officials with the city of Springfield have indicated that no criminal charges or traffic citations were issued to the driver.
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police are investigating after a pedestrian, a 44-year-old male, was struck by a vehicle on Memorial Blvd Wednesday evening.
The accident occurred on Memorial Blvd at 5th Ave, the first call coming into 911 at 7:36 pm. LOCATION OF ACCIDENT
The pedestrian was transported via ground (non-emergency) to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville with unspecified injuries. UPDATE: According to Robertson County EMS, the pedestrian sustained only minor injuries.
At the scene, the vehicle’s driver’s side mirror could be seen in the middle of the road following the accident. As far as the driver, who did stop, Springfield Police are leading the investigation.
