Remember, saving one dog or cat will not change the world, but surely for that one dog or cat the world will change forever.

Our girl Lizzy is a precious lil beagle mix lady, she’s approx 6-7 years old and just a sweetheart. She’s a beautiful black, tan and white girl with a lil grey on the face. She is ready to be adopted and can hardly wait for a new family to love.

Check out our big, handsome boy Fritz, he’s a St Bernard mix fellow, approx 2 years old. He’s extremely friendly and loves to give kisses.

Tortina is a beautiful lil 8 month old tortie colored girl. She is super sweet and loves to be loved on. She’s a definitely lap kitty and would make a great family pet or companion. She’s been vaccinated and is ready for a new forever home and family.

Orangelo is a beautiful lil orange tabby fellow, he’s approx 8 months old and a super friendly guy. He’s been vaccinated and is ready for a new forever home and family to love.

Animal shelters are always in need of

food, supplies and volunteers and Foster Parents.

Pets of the week from The Humane Society of Sumner County.

Sumner County Humane Society “Pets of the Week” open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm. 16 Volunteer Drive, Hendersonville, TN. 615-822-0061

Jaxson is a 6 year old Lab X who is very sweet and loves everyone he meets. He has been a pet all of his life and was surrendered due to financial struggles. The owner had raised him since he was a 2 month old puppy. His brother, Jones, was also surrendered, but has been adopted and now Jaxson is alone and really needs a forever home with lots of love. Jaxson is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and fixed. He should be an inside pet with outside privileges. Please come and visit Jaxson to see if he would be the perfect fit for you and your family.

Olivia is a 2 year old Bobtail, Domestic Short Hair Calico. She is very sweet, doesn’t mind behind held and will make for a wonderful pet. She was rescued while pregnant and was in a foster home before being ready for adoption.

We have Oliver (Olivia’s kitten) who is also up for adoption. They have been fixed, FIV/FELV tested negative, dewormed and fully vaccinated. All of our cats should be inside only cats and should never be declawed for their sake.

Tom & Selleck are 2 month old Domestic Short Hair kittens. They are both black and white, super friendly and very well socialized. Both of these babies were found wondering the streets, not fixed and full of fleas, but are doing great now. These sweet kitties would love to be adopted together, but we will do separate adoptions if needed. They have been fixed, FIV/FELV tested negative, dewormed and fully vaccinated. Tom and Selleck should be inside only cats and should never be declawed for their sake.
