Remember, saving one dog or cat will not change the world, but surely for that one dog or cat the world will change forever.
Meet our big boy Curtis, he’s a lab/pointer mix fellow with beautiful markings. He’s very friendly and enjoys being petted and loved on. He is ready to be adopted and looking forward to getting a new home and family.
Check out our beautiful girl Brownie, she’s a 4 year old long nose boxer. Brownie is very friendly and gets along great with kids and other dogs. She loves attention and can hardly wait to be adopted.
Check out our beautiful girl Philomena, she is one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. She is grey and white in color and has the most unusual markings. Philomena is approx 3, she gets along great with other cats and she hopes to be adopted soon.
Smokums is a beautiful long haired, 6 year old lil lady. She’s a beautiful grey color and very friendly. She has already been spayed and is looking for a new forever home and family to love her.

Stanley is an 8-9 week old domestic short haired kitten. He is very sweet and friendly and loves to play. He is fully vetted, neutered and up to date on vaccines. Any shots he still has left will be given free of charge at the Adoption Center. All of our kittens will need to be inside pets and should never be declawed (for his safety). It is kitten season and we have many kittens at The Humane Society of Sumner County Adoption Center. Please come and visit all our cats and kittens – they will steal your heart and make you smile.
Betty is a 2-3 year old little girl who is very friendly, very playful and loves everyone she meets. She is an owner surrender and really wants someone to take her home and love her. Betty has been fully vetted, is fixed and tested negative for heartworms. She will need to be an inside pet with outside privileges. Come and play with Betty in our new Pet/People park at the Adoption Center. You can bring your current pets to see if they get along before adopting.
