Angel Sulzer, a single mother with two children, a nine month old boy and a six-year-old girl are homeless after a fire tore through their home Thursday afternoon around 2:50PM. The home located in the 100 block of Scattersville Road is a total loss and the young mother is now scrambling to find a new home. Luckily no one was injured in the fire but now this young mother is faced with replacing everything from beds to diapers.
If you would like to help this family donations can be left at the Portland Fire Department located at 435 N Broadway, Portland, TN (MAP) (615) 325-5649. You can make donations at the fire hall 24/7 but if it’s late leave your donations inside the red door. If you are donating money and it’s late leave it next door with the police station dispatcher which is about 20 feet to the right of the fire hall in the same building.
