According to News 2, Chief Smith said the couple married in July but started having marital problems soon after. He said Hinsley had asked Hodges to come to the home earlier in the day to discuss their relationship. Hodges’ family discovered the bodies on a couch when she failed to come home after meeting with Hinsley. According to News 2, police say it appears Hinsley lured Hodges to his home to kill her.
