SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield High School went on a precautionary lockdown Wednesday morning prompted by what officials with the school district indicated was a prank phone call.
Reportedly the call was made by a student. The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office treated the threat like it was real and carefully searched the school. “At no time were the students in any danger and everyone followed proper protocol,” the district said.
The school was on lockdown for only a short time and the school has gone back to normal operation.
