Watauga Elementary School holds annual  “Safe Walk” to school. The event is part of a federal grant program that Ridgetop Police Chief Jeff White signed up for. White talks about the grant and what the money is used for.

Ridgetop Police Chief Jeff White says goodbye but not farewell on his last day on the job.  Smokey Barn News first announced White resigned from the position two weeks ago. (Original story) . His last day was Friday. “It was just time for a change,” White (who has lived in Greenbrier and Robertson County for most of his life) told Smokey Barn News. On Friday White talked Smokey Barn News about his departure and his last day on the job.

Watauga Elementary School is half way through renovations. Smokey Barn News gets an exclusive tour of the improvements,  and lastly, Smokey scares the heck out of a Principal.
