Robertson County EMS Awarded Tennessee Ambulance Service Association Bob Thomas ALS service of the year award
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Tonight, Robertson County EMS was awarded the Tennessee Ambulance Service Association 2019 ALS Service of the Year!
“We are honored to receive this award and it is a testament to the hard work and dedication that our crews show on a daily basis,” said Captain Josh Rice.
“We strive to provide the citizens of Robertson County with the very best in prehospital care and this award is a great recognition of that effort.”
“We were excited to receive the Tennessee Ambulance Service Association Bob Thomas ALS service of the year award. We are blessed to have a dedicated staff that does their best to provide the most evidence-based and current emergency medical care to our community.
“We have made awesome strides in technology and care over the years. I’m thankful for the support of our county government officials and other partners in healthcare that support us every day. We responded to nearly 10,000 calls for service in 2018 in the county. This would not be possible without our team.
“We’re not perfect by any means, there are always things that can improve but I go to sleep every night knowing that our folks at EMS, along with fire and law enforcement, will be able to handle anything they encounter.” Assistant Chief Russell Gupton with Robertson County Emergency Medical Service
