ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Robertson County School’s Board will be making a decision this evening that will have an effect on the district for years to come. Tonight the School Board may be selecting a new Director of Schools.
The current Director of Schools, Mike Davis, is retiring at the end of this year (full story) and the Robertson County School board has been on the hunt for a new Director ever since.
After months of searching and interviews, the Board has narrowed it down to three candidates. All three have impressive academic backgrounds so the Board will have its hands full as they vote this evening at the Robertson County School’s office building. The voting process will start at 7:00pm.
The Board will do one of two things this evening. A: The Board will pick one of the three candidates below as the new Director, or B: The Board could decide not to pick any of the three below which would restart the search from the beginning.
