Robertson Sheriff Investigating Threat To White House Heritage

WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed with Smokey Barn News that they have been informed of a 
threat towards White House Heritage High School in White House.
“The threat is currently under investigation to determine its validity,” said, Jessica Drake PIO | Robertson County Sheriff’s Office. “The Sheriff’s Office takes any and all threats to schools serious.”
The Sheriff’s Office said extra security will be placed at the school while the threat is under investigation.
As we understand it from concerned citizens that have reached out to Smokey Barn News, the threat came in the form of text communication.
The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the threat, however, if you have any information that you feel is relevant you can always contact the Robertson County Dispatch Center at 615-384-4911.
UPDATE 11:52AM Monday, 12/3/18
The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a reported threat to the White House Heritage High School. The investigation determined this was a hoax that was started by a student and circulated throughout the community and social media.
The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office is working with the District Attorney to determine if any charges will be filed.
The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate any and all potential threats to schools as school safety is one of our top priorities.
