Rollover At The Mint Springs Bridge In Adams Injures One
ADAMS, TENNESSEE – (Smokey Barn News) – A local man was transported to TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Mint Springs Road early Sunday morning. The vehicle, a pickup truck, veered off the roadway and ended up on its roof at the Mint Springs Road bridge. LOCATION OF CRASH Somehow the vehicle stopped short of sliding down into the Elk Fork creek, the first call coming into 911 at 7 am.
The Adams Fire Department, Robertson County EMS, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) all responded to the scene. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported by ground “non-emergency” to TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield. Authorities confirmed the driver sustained injuries but none that appeared to be life-threatening.
Adams Fire Chief Donovan Tucker stated, “The driver was blessed” in that his injuries were not more severe. This crash could have easily been far worse.
THP is leading the investigation, however, the cause of the crash has not been released. The vehicle is likely a total loss.
