Rollover Crash Sends Two to Hospital Amid Busy Day for Robertson County First Responders
SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Bar News) – Two people were transported to an area hospital following a rollover crash on Oakland Road at UT Farm Road Sunday afternoon. LOCATION OF CRASH The first call came into 911 at 2:28 PM. The vehicle appears to have rolled multiple times, but according to officials, the occupants escaped without life-threatening injuries. Springfield Police, Robertson County EMS, and the Springfield Fire Department all responded to the scene.
It’s been a busy day for first responders with multiple accidents, including a two-vehicle crash on 17th Avenue in Springfield and another rollover crash on Betts Road in Greenbrier. (SEE PICS BELOW) We also have a report of a motorcyclist down on Huffman Rd, as of 5:49 PM we are still gathering info on that crash. Fortunately, despite the number of incidents, there have been no reports of loss of life or serious injury. None of the three accidents caused significant traffic delays, and officials had all three cleared up quickly.If we receive any relevant updates on these accidents, we will certainly bring them to you.
