Rollover-Head-On Crash In Springfield Leaves 2 Uninjured

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A two-vehicle rollover head-on crash in Springfield sent one of the vehicles over a curb, down an embankment, and into a roll Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred on Tom Austin Hwy at Ruth St, next to Sonic around lunchtime. MAP Somehow everyone escaped without injury and no one was transported. Both vehicles however sustained heavy damage and will likely be totaled.

The cause of the crash was not immediately apparent and Springfield Police have not released their findings but it’s clear that both vehicles collided nearly head-on. Officials at the scene told Smokey Barn News that after the initial impact, the Jeep went over the curb, into a roll, and just about into the Sonic parking lot.

Understandably both drivers seemed a little shaken up after the crash but otherwise were intact. One official told Smokey Barn News–“They were both lucky.”
