Safety Seat Saves Toddler In I24 Pile-Up Early Wednesday
PLEASANT VIEW, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Officials in Pleasant View say a toddler’s life was likely saved by a car seat in a multi-car pile-up on I23 Wednesday morning.
“We want to show our community the importance of your car seat and child being restrained correctly,” said Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Chief P.J. Duncan. “This vehicle was part of the 9-car pile up on I-24 this morning and thank God everyone was okay. If the car seat or child had been restrained incorrectly, things could have been much worse.”
Ironically the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a FREE car seat safety check this Saturday (November 18) at 1129 Pleasant View-Main St, Pleasant View, TN MAP FACEBOOK EVENT

Remarkably, according to Chief Duncan, no serious injuries were reported in any of the 9 vehicles involved in the crash.
