Second Robertson Area Home Ignites Monday Night

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Two Robertson County area homes ignited Monday night.  This is the second fire of the night carrying a Springfield Address. It is located on Waymon Dunn Road at the top of the county about two miles from the Kentucky border. MAP

When firefighters arrived, the home was already engulfed and within minutes the home was a fireball. Firefighters from the Adams Fire Department, North Robertson Fire & Rescue, the Adairville Rural Fire Department, the White House Community Fire Department, as well as Robertson County EMS, the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, and the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office all, responded to the scene.

This is the second of two fires in the Robertson County area Monday night. Just after 1 AM, Firefighters responded to a residential structure fire on Woody Lane in the White Hill area, about 3 miles north of Millersville. First responders bravely attacked the fire from all angles but it appears that the home has sustained heavy damage. FULL STORY AND VIDEO

This fire, on Waymon Dunn Road, was called in at 3:52 am, just as firefighters on Woody Lane had that fire under control.

No serious injuries were reported with either fire. The cause of both fires is still under investigation.
