Semi Tries To Jump The Wall At Highland Rim Saturday Night

GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A safety cable did its job at Highland Rim Speedway Saturday night when a Big Rig tried to jump the retaining wall.

As you see, if not for the safety cabling and retention wall the rig may have ended up in the stands.

Officials at Highland Rim tell Smokey Barn News that the crash followed a heated battle on the track.

Fortunately, due to proper safety equipment, no injuries were reported, though we are told the driver, Mike Morgan who won the last Bandit Big Rig race in July, is a little sore but otherwise OK.

As you can see by the video below filmed by Karen Yuhas, a cameraman jumped out of the way just in time.

Video my daughter Karen took of the truck race at Highland Rim today, thank God this man is Okay! The camera man in the shot was also alright.
