Sheriff: Barren Plains “Domestic” Shooting Leaves One Injured
BARREN PLAINS, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Robertson County EMS, along with North Robertson Fire and Rescue and the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a home on 161 near Barren Plains Saturday morning on reports of a shooting. The Sheriff’s Office secured the scene for safety, while First Responders administered medical treatment to one adult male. EMS transported the individual, who had sustained a single gunshot wound, to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for specialized trauma care.
The incident occurred at a home in the 5600 block of Hwy 161 around 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. MAP According to the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting victim did not sustain life-threatening injuries. Robertson County EMS reported that “despite the seriousness of the mechanism of injury, the victim, a male in his 40s, was surprisingly stable.”
No charges have been filed, but the incident remains under investigation, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
