Sheriff Investigating Attempted ATM Theft In Cross Plains
CROSS PLAINS TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted ATM theft at the Farmers Bank in Cross Plains early Friday.
The bank is located on Hwy 25 in the middle of downtown Cross Plains, the first call coming into 911 at 4:24 a.m. 
Following the attempt at relocating the ATM machine, the would-be thief/thieves abandoned their vehicle which landed with its nose in the roadway of Hwy 25.
According to the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, the perpetrator(s) have yet to be apprehended.
We’re told the damage to the Farmer’s Bank itself is minimal and they will run normal operational hours for your banking needs today.
