Shooting In Springfield Hospitalizes One Monday Night
Monday evening June 23, at approximately 7:38 PM officers were dispatched to the area of Blair St. and 21ST Ave E. in reference to shots fired. While officers were investigating the shots fired they received a call that a subject with a gunshot wound had arrived at Northcrest Medical Center.
Michael Nelson JR age 29 of Springfield, TN had a bullet wound to his right arm and he was treated and transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries . Springfield Police Detective David Joyce is investigating the case.
Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Springfield Police at 615-384-8422 or Crime Stoppers at 615-382-3799. All information is anonymous and crime stoppers will pay up to $1000.00 for information that leads to an arrest.
