South Haven Christian Lady Patriots Win TACS State Volleyball Championship

SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The South Haven Christian Lady Patriots Varsity Volleyball team captured the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools (TACS) State Championship on Friday, October 24, 2025, defeating the Berean Academy Lady Eagles three sets to one to bring home the state title.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Sarah Van der Hengst, the Lady Patriots displayed outstanding teamwork and determination throughout the tournament. After a competitive third set, South Haven rallied to control the match and secure the championship with dominant play and unified effort.

Junior Outside Hitter, Gracie Laughman, was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament for her exceptional performance, consistency, and leadership on the court. Her all-around play and energy were instrumental in the Lady Patriots’ success.
The championship victory is a proud moment for South Haven Christian School, highlighting the growth and excellence of its athletic program and the dedication of its student-athletes.
