Spfld. Library To Improve Tech Access With Grants

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Secretary of State Tre Hargett, Sabi Kumar, and a member of Representative Rose’s staff visited Stokes Brown Public Library to present checks for state and federal funds.

Members of the library board and staff were joined by Springfield and Robertson County mayors in receiving the funds on behalf of the library. The $3,030 grant will be used to improve access to Technology for Robertson County.

The $ 1,010 CARES grant provided the protective equipment needed to reopen the library safely as well as videoconferencing equipment.

We would like to thank everyone who supports the library. Their efforts provide the citizens of Robertson County with the information and materials they need for independent learning and personal growth.
