Springfield DMV Office Update On Reopening

ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – We have an update on the status of the closing of the DMV office in Springfield.

According to the TN Dept. Of Safety Driver services, the Springfield DMV is closed. No reason was listed.  Now, according to Robertson County Mayor Billy Vogle, the Springfield location will most likely reopen next week.

According to Mayor Vogle, the facility, located on Memorial Blvd at Main St, right in front of Springfield Auto and Transmission (MAP) was closed due to health concerns inside the facility. The facility was put through a battery of tests, including the ductwork and all came back negative, Vogle said.

Mayor Vogle was not able to provide an exact date the facility will reopen, just that it will be sometime next week.

If you are in need of DMV services you can try another location but with the Thanksgiving holiday this week, you may find it difficult. For other DMV locations and online services, follow this LINK –> https://www.tn.gov/safety/driver-services.html
