Springfield Girl Raises $5710 In Coon Hunt for Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Addison Harp, age 13 of Springfield raised $5710 for Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital after taking up the hobby of coon hunting with her dad 5 to 6 years ago.

Addison is a member of the Robertson County Coon Club and decided she wanted to into her first competition hunt. Each year Decatur County, TN hosts the world’s largest raccoon hunt to benefit Saint Jude’s Hospital on April 13, 2023. Addison signed up to hunt in the lady’s hunt.

With the help of family and friends in the community, Addison raised and donated $5710 the night of the hunt putting her first place as most money donated.

Many from Robertson County gathered in Decatur County to support Addison and her parents Randall and Amberlee Harp would like to say a huge thank you for everyone’s support.
