Springfield’s Winter Wonderland Reaching Out To TN Tornado Victims, How You Can Help

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – An F3 tornado came through Dresden Tennessee MAP and wiped out many businesses and homes in the little town of just 5500. Now Rudolph and (believe it or not) the Grinch with the assistance of the Springfield Parks and Recreation Department are helping out and they’re offering you a chance to help too!

As they have for years, the Springfield Parks and Recreation Department puts on Winter Wonderland at Travis Price Park. The park is beautifully lit up with thousands of lights. Each city department builds its own special scene and admission is always free every year.

As you exit Springfield’s Winter Wonderland look for Rudolph or the Grinch (whose heart has gotten big.) The two will be taking turns with the donation basket.  100% of the proceeds will go towards the city of Dresden Tennessee.

The park will be open now through December 23rd. Gates open at 5:30 pm and close at 9 pm. Rudolph and the Grinch will be there every night.

Never been to Springfield’s spectacular Winter Wonderland? Here’s a MAP.
