The National Weather Service is indicating showers and severe thunderstorms will begin rolling through middle Tennessee this evening and continuing through Friday.

Some of these storms could be strong with possible damaging winds and large hail.

Wednesday Evening:

Storms expected late evening through midnight.

Thursday:

There will be a break between storms Thursday morning with the next round coming in Thursday evening into Friday with winds 15-25 mph. This round is expected to carry a severe threat of powerful straight line winds or isolated tornadoes.

Friday:

Morning rain and a few scattered thunderstorms clearing in the afternoon.

A Smokey note:

The winter has been hard on our trees and has left some in weakened states. If we do get heavy winds in Robertson County we are likely  to have power outages as we did in the last storm. With the hail you may want to park that nice car of yours under a shelter and away from large trees. Remember, all the above from the Weather Service is what could happen, not what will happen.
