ROBERTSON COUNTY (Smokey Barn News) – Parents and teachers in Robertson County have begun receiving letters about a security event involving PowerSchool, a software provider used by school systems nationwide, including Robertson County Schools.

According to the letter, certain student and teacher data was accessed and downloaded by an unknown actor between December 19, 2024, and December 28, 2024. The data involved includes names and Social Security numbers.

PowerSchool notified Robertson County that unauthorized access to student and teacher records occurred during the December 2024 timeframe. An investigation confirmed that data was downloaded.
