Suspect Confesses To Franklin Farms Thefts In Greenbrier

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – According to Greenbrier Police, a suspect wanted for multiple burglaries in the Franklin Farms subdivision has been captured.

Greenbrier Police responded to several burglaries that occurred over the weekend and several reports were taken. According to Detective Buster Locklayer with the Greenbrier Police Department, “because the neighborhood has been hit before, a lot of the residents in the area have installed wifi cameras and ring doorbells and we were able to use that footage to identify the suspect.”

After the suspect was taken into custody a search warrant was conducted and some of the items have been recovered.

According to  Detective Locklayer, the suspect, Nicholas Wayne Davis, 20 of Greenbrier gave police a full confession.

Davis admitted that he had done the same thing before in Greenbrier, Locklayer said. Locklayer added that Davis could be facing additional charges.

Davis is currently being charged with 4 counts of burglary and theft of property over $500. Davis is currently being held at the Robertson County Detention Facility in Springfield under a 17,ooo bond.

The Greenbrier Police Department would like to thank the residents in the area for due diligence and assistance with the apprehension of Davis.
