TBI: Robertson County Man To Face Weapons Charges

PLEASANT VIEW TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News)  – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in a Robertson County man being charged with weapons violations.

On Thursday, TBI Agents with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force conducted a search warrant at a home in Pleasant View, as part of an ongoing investigation. During the search of the residence, Agents allegedly discovered three firearms not secured in the home. According to the TBI, the resident, Jody Taylor, is a convicted felon and is not permitted to have access to firearms.

Jody Taylor, 38,  of Pleasant View, was arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of Unlawful Carrying or Possession of a Weapon. He was booked into the Robertson County Jail on a $22,500 bond. Taylor was booked into the jail facility at 11 am on May 7th and bonded out at 12:49 pm the same day.
