Teen Driver OK After Watery Crash In Greenbrier
GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A 17-year-old driver escaped serious injury following a watery crash in Greenbrier Wednesday.
The crash occurred on Kelly Willis Rd at the bridge just passed the curve around 3 pm. MAP
It appears that the vehicle stayed upright as it left the roadway and entered the creek at the bridge. One official told Smokey Barn News that the accident had the mechanics to be much worse, the driver was lucky.
Greenbrier Police are in charge of the investigation. There’s no word on a cause of the crash but the driver will be charged with leaving the scene and due care, according to Greenbrier Police.
Robertson County EMS, the Greenbrier Fire Department, and Greenbrier Police all responded to the scene.
