Teenager Hit By Train in Greenbrier: In Critical Condition (HD VIDEO)

UPDATE: Nov. 11th, 2:00PM According to a Vanderbilt Media Representative, Miqaaily Pirtle was listed in “critical but stable” condition this morning. As of 2:00PM Tuesday, Pirtle was listed as “In surgery.”
Reported Earlier:
A young man was hit by a train Monday morning as he crossed the railroad tracks by the Citco Gas Station located off Main St near Hwy 41. (Exact location of accident) For reasons unknown, the young man just didn’t see or hear the train coming, according to officials at the scene.
Robertson County E.M.S. Assistant Director Russell Gupton told Smokey the man, Miqaaily Pirtle, 18, of Greenbrier, was in “critical condition, a level one trauma.” The young man suffered internal injuries and had broken bones. For more info see Smokey’s video report.
Pirtle was Lifeflighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
