Cruisin’ Christmas Parade And Miracle On Main Street provided a Day of Family Fun on December 6th. The theme was set and this year’s Christmas parade was a real crowd pleaser. The theme, “Cruisin’ Christmas” drew classic cars to the parade route and many car enthusiasts lined the streets.
This year’s Grand Marshal was Stacey David of Rattletrap Productions. There were many traditional floats and participants too. Marching bands, churches and dignitaries filled the parade route. The jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus brought up the rear of the parade. After the parade, Santa visited Miracle on Main Street for free photos with all the kids on the nice list.
Miracle on Main Street at the municipal center included live entertainment from local choirs and churches and Santa’s Market place was held in the gymnasium at the Civic Center. There were lots of booths to help holiday shoppers find the perfect gifts. There was handmade jewelry, handmade soaps, children’s items, baked goods, home décor and so much more. The Friends of the Library manned the concession stand offering hot dogs, sodas and more.
