The Daily Brief will be news reports covering alerts and other news that Smokey Barn News publishes on Social Media throughout the day but not here on our main website. We have received numerous messages from Smokey readers that are not on social media and therefore miss many alerts. If you are not on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter (X) then this report is for you. TRAFFIC ALERT STRUCTURE FIRE

We have a structure fire on Benson Road near Gunn Road not far from the Tennessee-Kentucky border above Barren Plains. For those of you living in the area, watch for first responders and emergency vehicles in the area. The structure is reportedly a barn/shop-building that may have contained several vehicles. No injuries have been reported. UPDATE: looks like it may have been a good-stop by North Robertson Fire & Rescue. We’re still collecting data.
