TRAFFIC ALERT: 8:30 PM

TRAFFIC ALERT: We have a traffic advisory for Highway 31W / Lewisville Highway. An accident involving two vehicles has occurred, causing congestion, but officials confirm it’s a non-injury crash. Expect delays if you’re traveling in the area until the roadway can be cleared.

GRASS/HAYFIELD FIRE ALERT CEDAR HILL 3:30 pm
We have a “large” grass/hayfield fire threatening a woodline and a home at the 4300 block of Pitt Rd. Additional agencies have been called in. If you are in the area, drive with caution and watch for first responders and equipment in the roadway.

**UPDATE:** 2 Homes Saved

The Adams Fire Department, with the aid of North Robertson Fire and Rescue, has extinguished the hayfield fire on Pitt Road in Cedar Hill, saving two homes and a wooded area.

Police Presence at the Old Days Inn in White House
The heavy police presence and crime scene tape you’re seeing at the old Days Inn in White House is just local law enforcement doing some training at the closed hotel today. There’s no cause for alarm.
According to Mandy Christenson with the White House Chamber, the hotel is being demolished and a Wawa is going in. El Ranchero remains open.
