BREAKING: Official April Fools’ Day Announcement from Robertson County

In an unprecedented move, officials in Robertson County have made the difficult decision to reschedule April Fools’ Day from April 1st to April 2nd due to conflicts and event scheduling. This decision comes after thorough deliberation and consideration of community engagement and impact.

“We understand the gravity of this decision and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. In light of this change, citizens are advised to remove any April Fools’ jokes posted today and repost them tomorrow, April 2nd.

“We recognize the importance of maintaining the integrity of April Fools’ Day traditions while also ensuring smooth coordination and harmony within our community. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

“Once again, we extend our apologies for any disruption this adjustment may cause, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.”

We have a two vehicle crash on Memorial Boulevard at Blackwood Dr near the DMV in Springfield. No word on injuries but traffic is moving slowly around the crash. Estimated time of clearing 3:30 PM.
UPDATE: One person was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
