SUSPECT ON THE RUN NEAR MT ZION
Authorities have informed us that a suspect who was briefly on the run near Mount Zion Road has been apprehended and is now in custody. While details are currently limited, we can confirm that the individual has been detained.

Motorcycle crash injures two. 3:54 PM, Tolleson Rd & Port Royal Rd near Adams. MAP Looks like a new bike. We’re told the couple did not sustain life-threatening injuries. FULL ALBUM HERE

SUMNER COUNTY LANDFILL CLOSED

UPDATE: 8 PM Fire OUT.

UPDATE: As of 7:50 PM this fire is still active.

The Resource Authority landfill located at 625 Rappahannock Wire Road in Sumner County experienced a fire earlier today. The city has indicated that as a result, the landfill will be closed until further notice.

We have a report of some loose goats near exit 35 Joelton on I 24. Drive with caution. 5:52 PM

Barn fire.. (Orlinda/Cross Plains area) Friendship Rd between Williams Road and East Robertson. Reported as a total loss. Called in at 5:30 pm. Cause unknown. Firefighters from the Cross Plains Fire Department, the Orlinda Fire Department, and the White House Community Volunteer Fire Department, with the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency all responded to the scene.
