THURSDAY
JAIL ALLEY
Springfield’s newly renovated Jail Alley combines quirky charm with rich history! Once used to escort prisoners from the old jail to the courthouse, it’s now a fun spot downtown. Stick your head through the gate and your hands in the bars for a playful “behind bars” photo-op. Maker Table Metal did the awesome metalwork, adding a fresh twist to this historic site. Have any memories or stories about Jail Alley? Share them with us in the comments! If you don’t know where the alley is, here’s a street view—> MAP

WEDNESDAY
HWY 41 CRASH GREENBRIER
On September 11th, at 5:40 p.m., a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 41 and Lights Chapel in Greenbrier caused road closures. Both Highway 41 and Lights Chapel were affected, and multiple patients were treated at the scene, though no life-threatening injuries were reported. The vehicles and patients took some time to clear, and drivers were advised to seek alternate routes, with Old Greenbrier Pike suggested as an option. The road has since reopened.
WEDNESDAY
SEPTEMBER 11
On September 11, 2001, at 9:11 AM, a hatred-fueled attack on American soil transformed the Twin Towers into enduring symbols of courage, bravery, and sacrifice, uniting a nation in its resolve and resilience.
