THP Presence on Hwy 41 in Greenbrier Tied to Criminal Investigation
GREENBRIER, TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) — A noticeable law enforcement presence at a Greenbrier structure on Wednesday drew a lot of attention from citizens, especially those in the area of Highway 41 near the city’s ball fields. MAP
Multiple Tennessee Highway Patrol vehicles were observed at a commercial property located at 2425 Highway 41, directly across from the ballpark. Smokey Barn News received numerous calls and messages from concerned parents and nearby residents asking for information.
A spokesperson for the Tennessee Highway Patrol offered limited details, stating only:
“Troopers were executing a search warrant,” and “It is an ongoing criminal investigation.”
No additional information about the nature of the investigation or the warrant has been released. However, there was no indication of any threat to the public, suggesting this was a targeted operation rather than a public safety concern.
