Trooper OK After Crash in Ridgetop
RIDGETOP, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper left the roadway at the curve on Lake Road in Ridgetop, landing in a homeowner’s front yard. LOCATION OF CRASH Slick road conditions likely played a role. The crash was reported around 10:15 p.m. Whether the trooper was in pursuit or en route to call was not released.
Markings on the grass indicate the vehicle left the road and into a ditch before stopping in the yard of a home on Lake Rd.
Fortunately, the trooper was not injured. The Sheriff’s Office, THP, Ridgetop Fire Department, and Robertson County EMS all responded.
