Two Hit-&-Run Crashes On The Same Street In Springfield, Police Looking For Suspects
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police are reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying the drivers in two separate hit-and-run crashes on Main St that occurred just hours apart.
Detectives don’t believe the two crashes are linked, so it’s likely just a coincidence that they occurred on the same street about a day apart. The first crash occurred on S Main St at 15 Ave on Sunday, February 12 around 4:20 pm. LOCATION OF CRASH Police say three vehicles were involved, including the vehicle that fled the scene. The vehicle that fled lost a dark color or burgundy bumper in the crash. No other description was available. The crash did involve minor children.
The second crash occurred the very next day less than a mile away at 4th and North Main St. Only one other vehicle was involved. LOCATION OF CRASH The crash occurred around 10 pm Sunday evening. The only description available was a red pickup truck. Springfield Police scoured the area but the driver and vehicle were not located.
No life-threatening injuries were reported in either crash. If you have any information on either crash you are encouraged to contact Springfield Police.
Springfield Police, the Springfield Fire Department, and Robertson County EMS all responded to the scene.
