Two Injured In Hwy 49 Rollover Crash Monday Night
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Two people were injured when their SUV left the roadway and overturned just outside Springfield Monday evening.
The crash occurred on Hwy 49 between Owens Chapel Rd and Hwy 76 around 7:15 pm. LOCATION OF CRASH
According to Cross Plains Fire Chief Tommy Jackson, the two occupants were transported to NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation but no official cause of the crash has been released.
Due to hazardous road conditions, several agencies, including the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, Robertson County EMS, and Robertson County Mayor Billy Vogle, are urging the community not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Robertson County EMS, the Cross Plains Fire Department, and the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene.
