Two OK After Springfield Rollover Crash Saturday

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) A t-bone crash with a passenger car at 5th and Memorial Blvd in Springfield launched a large pickup into a rollover crash Saturday afternoon. MAP

Both vehicles will likely be totaled but all of the occupants escaped without injury, showing little sign of their ordeal.

First on the scene were two off-duty Firefighters, one with the Springfield Fire Department, Bubba Dorris, and North Robertson Fire & Rescue’s Fire Chief Chad Gregory. They both rolled up on the crash seconds after it occurred and attended to both drivers.

Doris told Smokey Barn News that he heard the crash and looked over in time to see the pickup rolling.  Seconds later the Springfield Fire Department, with Robertson County EMS and Springfield Police arrived so the drivers were well cared for if they had been injured. Drakes Towing was called in to put the pickup back on its wheels.
