Urgent Care Opens Temporary Location After Tornado

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – After their Springfield office was destroyed in December’s tornado, Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care has opened a temporary clinic.

The new office structure is located at 2006 Memorial Blvd. between Burger King and Hardees. (MAP) This will serve as a temporary office after the previous location was destroyed in the December 9, 2023 tornado.

“We look forward to seeing our existing patients and welcoming new ones! We’ve missed you and are grateful for your patience and support during this challenging time,” said Dr. Matt Browning, Chief Medical Officer and MD at Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Springfield.

When an illness or unexpected injury arises, Ascension Saint Thomas’ 18 urgent care locations in Middle Tennessee offer urgent care, family care, and occupational health services seven days a week with extended hours including weekends to accommodate patients’ busy schedules. The Urgent Care Association of America accredits all Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care centers.

For added convenience, walk-ins are welcome, or patients can plan a same or next-day visit online with Hold My Spot®, or reserve a virtual visit.

The temporary location will have the same hours as previously: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Most insurance plans, including TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as cash and credit cards, are accepted.
